18th FEB 08’ - ’AW release of ’See Me Down’’ plus other stuff happens
Hey duders and dudettes lets get down to the usuals. You might know if you read the previous blog that Matt and Ric of AW fame took the road to London to sit in a cafe bar in kentish town and babble and ramble on about this and that and the new single. Now the guys at soundspace.tv have uploaded the video of the guys and if you follow this link:
Soundspace.tv
you can see the guys and possibly hear them having a good rant, its much like those in depth conversation down the pub we tend to have. Our randomness knows no bounds.
But the whole point of this interview was to promote the new single which leads me to the next bit...
You can now PRE-ORDER the single from 7Digital by payment methods such as Paypal and card debit/credit. Easy peasy.

Soundspace.tv London Massiv
Dear Fans,
Me and Matt trundeled down to London yesterday. It was fun and random as always in that AW way. Our journey was packed with random celebspoting. We saw Travis in a service station (The bass player was buying cheese and onion crisps) and Carpet Monster of The Big Breakfast fame nr Woodsie Green Tube station.
Anyway we were there to film a sort of video biography for the website/online Tv thingy Soundspace.tv. The idea of the site is that as well as offering the usual band content it gives bands an opportunity to express who they really are, on camera, in a coffee shop, in Kentish town.
It was really good fun and the results will be up on the website (http://www.soundspace.tv/node/230) soon and we'll link the vid we made to myspaz and youtube etc etc. We convinced Mark (Creator and instigator of soundspace.tv) to edit in some star wars style sceen swipes. We thought it was really funny. Maybe it wasn't. We'll let you decide.
Many happy returns

Ps. Our van also broke down. Some screw loose in the engine making deisel poor everywhere. It was all good tho, the RAC came and fixed us on the side of the M6, in the cold and dark. We're very very appreciative. Lets take a momment to respect the roadside recovery industry, without them the world would be a sad place. Check out www.RAC.com for more info.

Lancashire Evening Telegraph...A Rare Appearence of AW
There's a picture of us from last years DarwenLive festival printed in todays Lancashire Evening Telegraph. So for all the die hard fans in the house you can go out, buy a copy, cut out the picture and put it with the hair clippings, setlists and other assorted AW articles you've collected over time...or you can just laugh at how silly we look.
For those of you who are lucky enough to live outside of lancashire don't worry, we'll probably post the picture on here. I don't know why. We've really got nothing else to do.
Falling red wood, ruined take away.

ps. is it bad that there's a whole feature here for just one photo. Do you think we're making to much of a big deal out of small things? let us know...

Tour, Photo’s and Banana Peel Radio, Vancouver
ALrighty then...
Photos:
We're in need of some photo's of our furry faces for promotional purposes and we thought rather than shelling out loadsa cash on a "professional" who does wedding's and school photo's we'd see if there are any students out there that fancy it.
We figured a student might be more interesting and creative and probably a lot more fun to work with so if you're into photography and might have access to some kind of studio or something similar get in contact and we can blast through some ideas.
Tour:
Our tour is almost booked completely but we still have a few free dates (29th, 30th March and 6th April) so if anyone wants to book us drop us a line on myspace or info@avalonway.co.uk. We're very tidy and house trained. I promise
Banana Peel Radio:
I did a very fun interview with Jeffery Rubin from Banana Peel radio in Vancouver. It should be up on www.bananapeelradio.com soon if you want to have a listen to some ramblings. They'll also be playing See Me Down across the airwaves of Canada.
I feel thats enough information for today. How are you anyway? You seem quite content. Mind you, it is Sunday.

Ideally we're looking for a band local to Blackburn who will support and promote the gig as we are making sure it's a good night for all!
